Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before installing or using Nestio - Bundle Add-Ons ("Nestio", "the App", "we", "us"). By installing or using Nestio you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

1. About Nestio

Nestio is a Shopify embedded app that lets merchants sell product bundles with automatic discounts. Core features include:

• Creating campaigns, each anchored to a parent product and to the specific parent variants you choose
• Configuring up to three deals per campaign, where each deal is one purchasable bundle option
• Adding child variant lines to each deal, with their own quantity and discount type and value, plus a separate discount on the parent line
• Scheduling campaigns with start and end dates in your store's local time
• Activating a campaign, which creates a real Shopify automatic discount and writes the bundle configuration to a metafield on the parent product
• A theme app extension that lets your customers pick a deal and add the entire bundle to the cart in a single action
• Two Shopify Functions — a discount function that applies bundle pricing and a cart validation function that prevents checkout of an incomplete bundle
• An analytics dashboard built from real order and refund events, attributing revenue to each campaign and deal

2. Eligibility & Installation

Nestio is available exclusively to merchants on the Shopify platform. You must have a valid Shopify store and the authority to install apps on that store to use Nestio. By installing the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Shopify Platform

Nestio operates as a Shopify embedded app and is subject to Shopify's Partner Program Agreement and Shopify's Terms of Service. Your use of Nestio must also comply with Shopify's acceptable use policies. Shopify is an independent platform; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify Inc.

4. Permissions & API Access

Installing Nestio grants the App access to the following Shopify API scopes on your store:

• read_products / write_products — required to read your products and variants when building bundles, and to write the bundle configuration metafield onto the parent product
• write_discounts — required to create and manage the automatic discount that applies your bundle pricing
• write_validations — required to install the checkout validation rule that blocks incomplete bundles
• read_orders — required to receive order and refund webhooks and attribute bundle revenue in your dashboard

We use these permissions only to provide the App's stated features. You can revoke access at any time by uninstalling the App from your Shopify admin.

5. Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• How you configure your bundles, including which products and variants are included, quantities, and the discount amounts applied to each line
• Ensuring that your bundle pricing and promotional activities comply with applicable laws, including pricing and advertising regulations, as well as Shopify's policies
• Maintaining sufficient inventory for every product included in an active bundle
• Reviewing how a bundle appears and behaves on your storefront before promoting it
• Any business or financial outcomes that result from how you use the App

Nestio is a tool that executes the configuration you provide. We do not review, validate, or take responsibility for the business logic or profitability of your bundles.

6. Prohibited Use

You may not use Nestio to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Circumvent Shopify's discount or billing systems in unauthorized ways
• Create bundles or discounts for fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive purposes
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its underlying infrastructure
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, databases, or services

7. Pricing & Billing

Nestio is currently provided free of charge. If paid plans are introduced in the future, pricing, billing cycles, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations will be handled through Shopify's billing platform in accordance with Shopify's billing policies. We will notify you of any pricing changes before they take effect.

8. App Availability & Changes

We strive to keep Nestio available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may, at any time:

• Update, modify, or add features to the App
• Temporarily suspend the App for maintenance or infrastructure updates
• Discontinue the App with reasonable notice where practicable

Analytics are processed through an asynchronous background job queue, so dashboard figures may lag behind an order by a short interval. In addition, Shopify's read_orders scope only exposes the last 60 days of order history, which means the App cannot backfill analytics for orders placed before it was installed.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App (including its code, design, and documentation) are owned by us. These Terms do not grant you any intellectual property rights in the App. The bundle configuration and campaign data you create through the App remain yours.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will meet your specific business requirements or that all features will function without error in every scenario.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the App — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the App in the three months preceding the claim (or, if the App was free, zero).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, our Privacy Policy governs how your data is handled.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts applicable to the App developer's place of business.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
